Free access and product availability
Auktra currently offers free local use. An optional account provides account management and access to releases when offered. Creating an account or requesting access does not guarantee a download, compatibility, continued availability, or production qualification. Product features and supported versions may change. These terms do not enroll you in a paid subscription; any future paid offering will have separate terms and an explicit purchase step.
Google accounts
Google authenticates your account through Clerk. Use your own account, provide accurate information, and protect access to your Google account and Auktra sessions. Auktra never asks for your Google password. Auktra sign-in does not authenticate Codex or authorize access to local projects.
Clerk provides account and session management; Google provides Google authentication. Their applicable terms also govern your use of those services. Auktra handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Recording and local data
Signing in does not enable recording or upload your local evidence. You choose recording and selected-content consent separately. Record only projects and data you are authorized to process, and use approved non-sensitive work for candidate evaluation. Content filtering does not guarantee removal of secrets or personal information.
Receipts are policy-filtered evidence, not a complete record or a guarantee of command success, coverage, or exactly-once execution. Saved findings are your own notes. Review the evidence guide and the exact release’s compatibility and limits before relying on a result.
Account deletion and local cleanup
Use Manage account on the Account page to change or delete your account, completing the provider’s reauthentication and confirmation steps. A deleted account cannot authorize subsequent account or download requests.
Website sign-out, account deletion, local logout, and evidence deletion are separate actions. On releases with account features, use auktra logout on each installation and check whether local removal and remote revocation were confirmed. Account deletion does not stop recording. Deleting an account or removing the installed package does not purge local evidence, saved notes, reports, or backups. Follow the local removal guide for separate cleanup.
Permitted use
You may use the site to learn about Auktra, manage your own account, and retrieve access offered to you. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorized access, share private release links or credentials, or submit unlawful material. We may restrict hosted access to address misuse or security risks; this does not remotely purge your local data.
Intellectual property
Auktra and its licensors retain rights in the product, name, marks, website design, and copy. Free access does not make the product public-domain or open-source. Use a supplied release only as allowed by its accompanying license. You retain your rights in your project content and notes.
Third-party services
The site also uses Tally for access requests and links to third-party services. Their availability and applicable policies are outside Auktra’s control. No Google or Clerk endorsement of Auktra is implied.
Disclaimer
The site and candidate releases are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Auktra disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes
We may revise these terms as Auktra develops; the effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised terms. For questions, reply to an Auktra email or contact the team through the access-request form.
